We restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your non-public personal information.

All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information:

It is Summit State Bank's policy not to reveal information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, except for the exchange of information or in the performance of bona fide corporate due diligence or business matters, unless:

  • The information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by the customer;
  • The customer requests or authorizes it;
  • The disclosure is required by or allowed by law (e.g., subpoena, request by regulator, etc.);
  • The customer has been informed about the possibility of disclosure for marketing or similar purpose through a prior communication and given the opportunity to decline (i.e., "Opt Out");
  • The information is provided to a reputable Credit Bureau or similar information-reporting agency.

Our website does not automatically collect personally identifying information about its users. Our Web Server may collect generic information about you such as the pages you visit, the date and time of access, the actions that you tried to perform, and whether or not you were successful. Our Web Server may use "cookies" which is a small file stored on your computer to give you a unique ID. Cookies may be used to monitor your use of our Website, to deliver content specific to your interests, and for other identification purposes.

Children's Privacy:

rotecting the privacy of children is especially important to us and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children on our website.
