WebConnect vs. DirectConnect

For online banking, Summit State Bank offers two ways for you to import your account information into Quicken or QuickBooks:

WebConnect: After you set up your accounts within Quicken or QuickBooks, you can manually download transactions from our website and import them into Quicken or QuickBooks. Just visit Summit State Bank's website and download your posted transactions, then import them in to Quicken or QuickBooks.

DirectConnect: After you set up your accounts within Quicken or QuickBooks, you can automatically download transactions from within Quicken or QuickBooks. Direct Connect offers two-way connectivity between Quicken or QuickBooks and Summit State Bank. This service provides you the ability to automatically download your account transactions (for all of your accounts, simultaneously) and also pay your bills using your Summit State Bank Bill Pay service, with just a few clicks of your mouse.

How do I get started?

  • New Quicken or QuickBooks Customer: Complete the set-up in your Quicken or QuickBooks software from the Online Banking menu options.
  • Current Quicken or QuickBooks Customer: You must first deactivate your current WebConnect service within Quicken or QuickBooks, then reactivate your accounts in the software using the DirectConnect option, instead of WebConnect.
