Special $1,000 Random Acts of Kindness
Did you submit your idea for our $1,000 Random Acts of Kindness? All year, Summit has sponsored KZST's Random Acts of Kindness, giving $100 to unsuspecting people for doing random acts of kindness observed in our community. This November, Summit State Bank and KZST asked listeners for their ideas for a $1,000 Random Acts of Kindness event, and here were the top 10, totalling to the largest Random Acts of Kindness in history:
- Give $100 to a teacher to spend on their class
- Go to a pharmacy and pay for someone's medications
- Go to a restaurant or coffee shop and pay for as many people as you can with $100
- Go to the pos office and pay for everyone's shipping
- Go to a Christmas tree lot and pay for a family's Christmas tree
- Go to the JC book store and pay for $100 worth of school supplies, books, etc
- Wait at the red Salvation Army kettle and give a $100 bill to someone who drops in a little money
- Go to a laundromat and pay for as many people's laundry as possible
- Find someone who holds the door open for a stranger
