Summit State Bank is dedicated to supporting the communities in which we live and work through charitable donations, event sponsorships and employee volunteerism.
Our primary area of focus includes the following:
The vitality of our cities and development of our rural areas is of utmost importance to us. Summit State Bank supports programs that provide affordable housing, sustain small business, create jobs, attract new industries and enhances the overall well-being and sustainability of our community.
The Bank supports initiatives that assist with affordable housing, including providing support and funding projects that benefit low to moderate income residents.
We provide support to team sports, educational and cultural projects and experiences. Many of our staff volunteer their time for school related projects and fundraisers. We look for opportunities to expose students to the banking environment to engage them in interactive learning and make them aware of potential career paths in banking.
SSB Employee's Volunteering through Summit Day of Service
Providing tools to assist with managing and meeting your financial goals is important to us. If you are interested in having a Summit State Bank team member provide financial literacy education to your school, non-profit organization's staff and clients and caregivers assisting older adults, we would welcome the opportunity.
Employees are granted one paid workday a year to volunteer their time with any non-profit within our community of their choosing. We also have a few employees who serve on community boards.
