In addition to our speakers, we're excited to continue the NBNE Donation Giveaway. At the end of the event, we will award five $1,000 donations to North Bay nonprofits in attendance.

To enter, simply submit your nonprofit at check-in. One entry per nonprofit. Organizations must be a 501(c) nonprofit serving the North Bay, and a representative must be present at the time of the drawing to win.

 


Keynote Speaker: Darian Rodriguez Heyman

Darian Rodriguez Heyman is an accomplished social impact consultant, fundraiser, board development expert, and author. A nonprofit strategist, philanthropic advisor, and keynote speaker with more than twenty years of tactical experience, Darian has supported transformational initiatives across the sector. He launched Craigslist Foundation's acclaimed Nonprofit Boot Camp as Executive Director, helped the United Nations develop the Sustainable Development Goals around climate and gender, cofounded 2XGlobal to help direct more than $33 billion to women-led businesses, and helped guide over $200 million to Black-led nonprofits. As a thought leader, he has delivered keynote presentations around the world and authored the bestselling Nonprofit Management 101 and Nonprofit Fundraising 101, establishing himself as a trusted voice for mission-driven leaders worldwide. Through his consultancy Helping People Help, Darian provides executive coaching and consulting specializing in artificial intelligence implementation, fundraising, board development, and strategic planning for mission-led organizations.

Most recently, Darian released his latest bestselling book, AI for Nonprofits (Wiley, 2025), featuring insights from fifty-seven sector leaders and actionable strategies for using artificial intelligence to advance fundraising, marketing, program delivery, and operations. As founder of AI4NP.org, a fiscally sponsored initiative of NTEN, he is building a digital Learning Hub for artificial intelligence for good resources and launching a national Learning Lab series to strengthen sector capacity around responsible artificial intelligence adoption.

Opening Speaker: Linda Jacobs!

Linda Jacobs has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) since 2002, where she has led the organization's growth across the Bay Area by expanding services throughout Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and Solano counties. With more than forty years of nonprofit leadership experience, Linda is a recognized expert in governance, board development, and nonprofit strategy, and she frequently advises and presents on trends shaping the sector. Under her leadership, CVNL has strengthened nonprofits by building leadership capacity, fostering innovation, and supporting community impact. Linda has served on numerous regional and national boards, including the California Association of Nonprofits, and has been recognized with multiple leadership awards, including induction into the Marin Women's Hall of Fame.
